Book Repair, Restoration and Conservation
We offer a comprehensive book repair and restoration service to suit most budgets and are happy to give free advice. This includes ledgers, bibles, notebooks and diaries.
We offer both Japanese tissue and tissue encapsulation page repairs using conservation grade materials.
We stock a wide range of historically accurate replacement end papers and leathers that enable us to achieve as near as possible match to the original.
We are currently commissioned to conserve books for The Wren Library of Lincoln Cathedral.
Family History Hard Binding
We offer a full colour range of cloth hard back bindings which can be lettered and gold tooled on the spine and front board to your specification.

Journal & Magazine Binding
We started our careers as Library Style Bookbinders with The City of Hull Library Bindery.
We offer tradionally sewn, rounded and backed journal and magazine bindings which last a lifetime.
Family Bible Repair
We can offer a repair to suit any budget from new covers to an extensive restoration.
We treat each book as a museum piece, preserving all its original features. Our reversible repairs go underneath the original structure preserving your books original look and feel.

Private Press Binding
We have worked alongside Chevington Press and Newbold private press for many years producing exciting bindings.

University Hard and Soft Binding
Full bound in Arbelave Buckram. Lettered in gold on spine with name (initials, surname), degree and year of submission. Also lettered on front board with title, name, year of submission. Unlike others, these are hand stitched, the cover tailor made and lettered using deep hot foil embossing.
Hard Binding - from £75 per copy. Soft Binding from £20. HYMS £95.

We keep written order form until your order is complete. Email and website contact and enquiries are kept for a maximum of 2 years.
